Mildred “Millie” Breeden, 93, formerly of High Ridge and Fenton, died Jan 19, 2021, at her son’s home in Hillsboro. Mrs. Breeden was a retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier in Fenton. She will be remembered for her smile, her love for life, and her dedication to friends, church and family. Born June 11, 1927, in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Cora Ethel (Davis) and Thomas Campbell Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years: James “Jim” Breeden, whom she married Feb. 11, 1947, in Salem, Ark.
She is survived by four children: Daryl (Barri) Breeden of Moorpark, Calif., Bob (Barbara) Breeden of Hillsboro, Chuck (Tammy) Breeden of LaGrange, Ga., and Barb (Kevin) Keen of Cedar Hill; two grandchildren: Danielle (Robert) Webber of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Micah (Shawna) Breeden of Eagle Mountain, Utah; seven great-grandchildren: Madison, Weston and Charlotte Webber, all of Rancho Santa Margarita, and Riggs, Piper, Francois and Mace Breeden, all of Eagle Mountain; and a sister: Mary Ellen Wright of Tampa, Fla.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings: Lois German, Lorene Summers, Wilburn Lewis, Arthur Lewis, Harlin Lewis, Benjamin Lewis and Ted Lewis.
