Jennemann, Mike

Michael Louis “Mike” Jennemann, 68, of Antonia died June 15, 2018. Mr. Jennemann spent 30 years at Fox High School as an industrial arts and architectural drafting teacher before retiring in 2003. He had a passion for building things and enjoyed working with people, helping them bring their dreams to life. He loved spending time boating and fishing at the lake with his children, grandchildren and friends. He also loved camping and traveling on his Harley. He was born Jan. 10, 1950, in St. Louis, the son of the late Arthur and Delores Jennemann.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Linda (Baer) Jennemann; two sons: Travis (Amanda) Jennemann of Colorado and Cody (Taylor Krato) Jennemann of Hillsboro; three grandchildren: Tucker, Ryder and Sawyer; a brother: Stephen (Rosemary) Jennemann of Pevely; siblings-in-law: Brenda (Rick) Wicks of Arnold, Clay (Maria) Baer of Arnold, David Baer of Barnhart and Dennis (Kim) Penberthy of Imperial; four nieces: Amy (Ryun) Kasten, Brooke (Tom) McAnally, Crystal (Kyle) Welch and Shelby Baer; five nephews: Ryan (Becky) Jennemann, Corey (Katie) Penberthy, Tony (Sarah) Penberthy, Ricky (Sarah) Wicks and Brandon (Lois) Wicks; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Linda (Jennemann) Penberthy

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 4614 Blue Springs Road, in Imperial. A celebration of life will follow from 1-5 p.m. at the VFW Post 2593 Hall,  2301 Church Road, in Arnold.
