Michael Leonard Pierce, 64, of Herculaneum died Nov. 6, 2018, in Herculaneum. Mr. Pierce was a retired senior vice president with Southern Commercial Bank in Crystal City. He was a member of the Twin City Businessmens Association, and of Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge 1721, where he served as a past five-year trustee and house committee chairman. He enjoyed golf, softball and barbecue. Born Jan. 21, 1954, in De Soto, he was the son of Betty Geraldine (Coonce) and Claude Leonard Pierce of Donna, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Sharon Leigh (Boylan) Pierce of Herculaneum; three daughters: Lindsay (Brandon) Thomas of Crystal City, Jenifer (Bryan) Warren of Yorktown, Va., and Jaime (Jim) Squires of St Louis; a brother: Larry Pierce of Potosi; and nine grandchildren: Tristan Pierce, Alysa Thomas, Reilly Warren, Liam Warren, Kellan Warren, Mallory Bradley, Shannon Bradley, Aydan Squires and Cameron Squires.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Andrea Bradley; and a brother: Ronald Pierce.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto.
