Michael Daniel Carter, 37, of Festus died June 9, 2021, at his home. Mr. Carter was born Jan. 31, 1984, in St. Louis, he was the son of Susan A. (Zimpfer) Carter of Festus and Bobby G. Carter of House Springs.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Shannon Deal of Pevely; a brother: Steven Killian of Bloomsdale; his grandparents: Michael and Wandalee Patterson of Pevely; an aunt: Diana (Larry Maness) Wagner of Crystal City; an uncle: Kevin (Connie) Zimpfer of Pevely; and cousins Jeremy (Brittany) Zimpfer, Jason (Nicki) Boyer, Domonic Boyer, Brendan Boyer, Riley Zimpfer, Kacey Zimpfer, Cassie Zimpfer, Lonnie Fitzgerald, Noah Fitzgerald, Scarlet Fitzgerald, Courtney Fitzgerald, Bailey Thomas, Chloe Williams, Kaley Deal, Megan Deal, Dakota Ahrens, Jeffrey Ahrens and Bethany Ahrens.
He was preceded in death by an aunt: Torri Angela Fitzgerald; an uncle: Gregory Dean Zimpfer; and a cousin: Cody Zimpfer.
Services were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
