Michael Anthony “Shaggy” Keenan-Green, 30, of Cedar Hill died Aug. 12, 2020. Mr. Keenan-Green served in the U.S. Army from 2007-2015. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, taking motorcycle trips, seeing new places and meeting new people, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his fun-loving and easygoing personality. Born Sept. 13, 1989, in St. Louis, he was the son of Linda (Keenan) and Jerry Green Jr.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter: Ava Keenan of Mount Vernon, Ill.; two sisters: Shelby Bowers of Cedar Hill and Carol Bowers of Cedar Hill; two grandmothers: Peggy Keenan of Bismarck and Diana Baker of St. Louis; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers: Clyde Keenan Sr. and Mike Baker; and an uncle: Clyde “Bill” Keenan Jr.
Funeral services were held Aug. 17 at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, officiated by friends and family. Burial was in Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cody Chilcutt, Tyler Proemsey, David Proemsey, Jeff “Cuz” Jourdain, Dan “Dapper Dan” Salas, Marvin Keenan Jr., Don Vaughn and Ronnie Keenan Jr. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Moore Funeral Home.
