Michael Alan Bergmann Sr., 64, of Hillsboro died Oct. 8, 2015, at his home. Mr. Bergmann was an over-the-road truck driver and enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, shooting guns and spending time with his family. Born March 29, 1951, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Robert and Patsy (Conner) Bergmann.
He is survived by five children: Devin Bergmann of Hillsboro, Jaime Bergmann of Hillsboro, Michael Bergman Jr. of Hillsboro and his former spouse, Carolyn Bergmann, Sherry (Dennis) Barks of Overland and Amanda (Chuck) Adams of Collinsville, Ill.; six grandchildren: Nicholas Barks, Jayden Bergmann, Emily Ayala-Bergmann, James Bergmann, Adriana Ayala and Noah Adams; his stepfather: A.J. Jackson; and five siblings: Linda Laws, Robert (Debbie) Bergmann, Dwight (Brenda) Jackson, Wiona (Ross) Matthis and Donna (Mike) White.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
