
Mary Louise Wilson, 73, of De Soto died June 18, 2021, at Hillcrest Care Center. Mrs. Wilson was a registered nurse who retired from St. Anthony’s Medical Center after working at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and several nursing homes. She volunteered as a Girl Scout troop leader and enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family. Born March 31, 1948, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Mary Belle (Robbs) and William Kenneth “Kenny” Sutton.
She is survived by three children: Lisa (Bob) Mira of De Soto, Melissa Wilson of De Soto and Bryan Wilson of Farmington; three siblings: Linda Hurley, Carol Ann (Don) Brown and Sherry (Tom) Brock, all of De Soto; five grandchildren: Brittany (William) Benson, Christopher Whitt, Emily (Matt) Dalgetty, Michael Whitt and Bethany Mira; four great-grandchildren: Ryker and Bonnie Rose Whitt, Finley Grace Benson and one to be born; an aunt: Grace Sutton Manley of Sacramento, Calif.; and two uncles: John (Lurea) Sutton of De Soto and Don (Charlotte) Sutton of Victoria, Texas.
Memorial gathering will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, followed immediately by funeral services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
