Mary Lea Nosser, 65, of Festus died April 17, 2018, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mrs. Nosser was self-employed. Born Feb. 19, 1953, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Opal (Missey) and Mack Nosser.
She is survived by two sons: Scott (Michelle) Todd of Troy and David Butcher of Jefferson City; a daughter: Jennifer Lynn Nosser of Houston, Texas; two brothers: Paul Nosser of Warrenton and Kenneth Nosser of Festus; a sister-in-law: Becky Nosser of Fenton; and six grandchildren: Damion Kittrell of St. Louis, Isameril Kittrell of St. Louis, Danelle Todd of Troy, Katy Todd of Troy, Elijah Kittrell of Quincy, Ill., and Savannah Kittrell of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by a brother: James Nosser.
A funeral service was held April 24 at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Jim Owens. Burial was in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to an education fund for Ms. Nosser’s grandchildren in care of Cheryl Nosser, 1619 Wellington Ct., Quincy, IL 62305. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
