Mary K. “Kathy” Lintner, 80, of Cadet, died June 16, 2015, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County. Mrs. Lintner was a nanny, cosmetologist and a welder. Born June 18, 1934, in Nashville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Tessie Mae (Evitts) Trice.
She is survived by her husband: Dale Lintner of Cadet; two children: Beverly Kohlmeyer of Cadet, Chester (Grace) Grimes of Houston; one stepdaughter: Elizabeth (Scott) Buerck of Perryville; one sister: Christine Underwood of Nashville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren: Randi, Amber, Jodie, Christina, Cassie, Victoria and Meghan; and 13 great-grandchildren: Travis, Jessie, Michael, Maddison, Anthony, Kaleb, Noah, Presley, Eryc, Aryana, Anneliese, Taylor and Hannah.
She was preceded in death by three children: Kathleen Brandon, Leslie Grimes and Randy Grimes; nine siblings: O’Neal Trice, Melvin Trice, Jennie Dickerson, Arthur Trice, Mance Trice, Bobby Trice, Nellie McKnight, Beatrice Williams and Edward Trice; and one great-grandchild: Michael Hill.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, De Soto. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, at the funeral home, officiated by Randy Gray. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
