Mary Jane Lewis, 72, Fenton

Mary Jane Lewis, 72, of Fenton died April 26, 2015, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis County. Ms. Lewis was a retired housekeeper from Des Peres Hospital. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in De Soto. Born Aug. 12, 1942, in Old Mines, she was the daughter of the late Mary Magdalen (DeClue) and Chester Paul “Diamond T” Coleman.

She is survived by five children: Chris (Terri) Lewis of Independence, Tim Lewis of Pacific, Roberta Ribble of Bonne Terre, Lisa (Adam) Ramey of Hillsboro and Jeff (Patty) Lewis of Phoenix, Ariz.; three siblings: Frances (the late “Bum”) Johnston of De Soto, Joan (the late Jim) Houston of De Soto and Imelda “Millie” Popp of Independence; 10 grandchildren: Josh, Justin, Hannah, Gavin, Madison, Lance, Bridgette, Shelby, Stephanie and Taylor; and four great-grandchildren: Parker, Patience, Tyler and Noah.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at St. Rose of Lima Church, 523 S. Fourth St., in De Soto, with Father Alexander Anderson officiating. Burial will be in St. Joachim Cemetery in Old Mines. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
