Mary Carolyn Sills, 82, De Soto

Mary Carolyn Sills, 82, of De Soto died March 26, 2020, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Mrs. Sills enjoyed her garden, sewing, crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in Mapaville. Born Nov. 3, 1937, in Marston, she was the daughter of the late Mary L. Nanney and William F. Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Gordon Sills.

She is survived by a son: Brent Lee Sills of De Soto; three brothers: James F. Davis of De Soto, John Davis of Lemay and Charles A. Davis of De Soto; a sister: Bonnie Holt of De Soto; and numerous family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Anthony Davis and Robert Davis; and a sister: Frankie Loving.

Services were private. Burial will be held at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
