Mary Ann (Tennison) Terry, 84, of De Soto died Dec. 12, 2015, in rural De Soto. Mrs. Terry held a master’s degree in education from the University of Arkansas and was a retired teacher with the Hillsboro R-3 School District. She was born Feb. 13, 1931, in Red Rock, Ark.
She is survived by two sons: Ricky (Sue) Terry of Hillsboro and Ron (Teri) Terry of Independence; a sister: Jesse White of Springfield, Mo.; a brother: Arvie Heydenreich of Deer, Ark.; two grandchildren: Jared Terry of Omaha, Neb., and Cathy (John) Wallenbrock of Hillsboro; and three great-grandchildren: Danica, Brennon and Kaileyah.
She was preceded in death by six brothers: Robert, Harl, Sherman, Rosco and Archie Heydenreich and Lawrence Tennison.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Hillsboro Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
