Mary A. Froud, 80, of House Springs died Dec. 18, 2016, at her home. A Christian, Mrs. Froud was a pastor’s wife and traveled the Midwest preaching and singing with her husband. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, cooking and sewing and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. She was a member of Twin Rivers Worship Center, loved cooking and sewing. She was Jan. 1, 1936, in Blytheville, Ark., the daughter of the late Golden and Bessie Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Rabon Froud.
She is survived by two children: Rabona (Larry) Frye of High Ridge and Valerie Froud of House Springs; a sister-in-law: Nella Griffin of Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Glenn and Wade Griffin; and a sister-in-law: Sybil Griffin.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill, followed immediately by the funeral service. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Cedar Hill.
