Marvin Q. Harness Jr., 64, of Cedar Hill died Aug. 24, 2019, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Harness enjoyed motorcycles, listening to rock ’n roll and barbecuing. Born July 24, 1955, in Kirkwood, he was the son of the late Marvin and Mildred (Love) Harness.
Mr. Harness is survived by his wife: Jaci Harness; two children: Taryn Rogers and Tiffany Harness; two stepchildren: Molly Morath and Luke Morath; his aunt: Shirley Sisk; and numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Harness.
Visitation is at noon and a funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary .
