Marsha M. “Marsh” (Joseph) Caramatti, 75, of Barnhart died April 7, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Caramatti was a homemaker and had worked in the offices of several businesses in the medical and insurance industries. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. Born Dec. 31, 1945, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Tiemann) Joseph.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years: John J. Caramatti; two children: Anthony (Betsy) Caramatti of Creve Coeur and Michael Caramatti of Barnhart; three grandchildren: Cassandra, Vincent and Joseph Caramatti, as well as Brittney Cortinas, to whom she was like a grandmother; and many other extended family members and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 7030 Gravois, in St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
