Marilyn L. (Dwyer) Potter, 64, of Festus died June 13, 2018, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Fla. Mrs. Potter was a retired aerospace mechanist at Tech Manufacturing. Born June 2, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Marie (Hunton) and Daniel Dwyer.
She is survived by her ex-husband: Randy Potter of Washington; two children: Randy (Jenny) Verden-Potter of Brookfield, Wis., and Scott Potter of Milwaukee; three siblings: Mona (Jerry) Harris of Hillsboro, Sheila Gibson of High Ridge and Daniel Dwyer of Hobe Sound, Fla.; three grandchildren: Brock, Bryce and Brooke Potter, all of Brookfield; two nieces: Shelly (Ron) Ruess of Festus and Sherry (Kevin) Bowman of Washington; and a nephew: Heath A. Harris of Barnhart.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Victoria Marie Dwyer.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Oak Valley Resort, 1230 Abbey Lane, in Pevely. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997, or any local hospice organization.
