Marilyn Jean (Rosener) Cash, 89, Festus
Marilyn Jean (Rosener) Cash, 89, of Festus died Oct. 11, 2023, in Festus. Mrs. Cash worked as a riverboat cook for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. She enjoyed flowers, shopping, dancing, and spending time with family. Born Aug. 24, 1934, in Bonne Terre, she was the daughter of the late Wallace E. and Pearl L. (Daugherty) Rosener.
She is survived by five daughters: Jeannie M. Ellis of Festus, Joyce (Marvin) Wyatt of Crestwood, Patty Cash of Bonne Terre, Diana (Gary Roth) Cash of St. Mary and Melinda (Randy) Freytag of Wartburg, Tenn.; a son: Charles R. Cash of Festus; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by her former husband: Charles F. Cash; four brothers: Robert Rosener, Edward Rosener, Wilfred Rosener, and Francis Rosener; and two sisters: Wilma Seibert and Myra Ogden.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in Festus.
