Margaret “Peggy” Zmashenski, 86, of Arnold died Sept. 19, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Zmashenski did clerical work. Born April 22, 1930, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late George Wesley Dickens and Margaret (Thomas) Dickens. She was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Zmashenski.
She is survived by a son: Matt (Dawn) Zmashenski of Imperial; three daughters: Midge Wright of Arnold, Mardi (Bill) Manes of Hillsboro and Mindy (Mark) Hunze of Arnold; six grandchildren: Brian Hunze of Arnold, Angie Shippey of Ballwin, Brian Manes of Herculaneum, Heidi Dirschuweit of Arnold, Stacy Bronner of Pevely and Orion Zmashenski of Imperial; and many great-grandchildren, siblings, siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: Stephen Zmashenski.
Visitation is scheduled from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Arnold, officiated by Father Tim. Burial is in the Lakewood Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
