Margaret M. LaRose, 87, of Crystal City died May 24, 2016, at her home. Mrs. LaRose was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City and Knights of Columbus Council 1230 Ladies Auxiliary. She was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Festus, the daughter of the late Alma Agnes (Roth) and Andrew Michael Kreitler. She was preceded in death by her husband: Cletus A. “T.B.” LaRose.
She is survived by three daughters: Cheryl (Louis) Plass of Festus, Sandra K. (Ron “Rocky”) Parker of St. Louis and Pamela (Fred) Hummelsheim of Barnhart; a sister: Diane K. (Fred) Skaggs of Festus; a brother: Roger (Joanne) Kreitler of St. Louis; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott Hess) Plass, Richard (Jessica) Plass and Amy Horrell; and three great-grandchildren: Clara Plass, Maya Plass and Trinity Horrell.
She was preceded in death by an infant son: Jeffery Allen LaRose.
Funeral Mass was held May 27 at Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City, officiated by Father Clark Maes. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
