Lynn Marie Asher, 55, formerly of Barnhart, died Sept. 24, 2018, at Saint Louis University Hospital. Ms. Asher loved watching the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals. She also loved music, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. Born March 6, 1963, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Joanna Asher of Lemay and the late Wilbert Asher Jr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters: Amanda (Josh) Culley of Festus and Jennifer (Brendan) Knight of De Soto; two sisters: Trisha Storey of Barnhart and Teresa Asher-Bruce of Lemay; one brother: Raymond Asher Sr. of Barnhart; four grandchildren: Riley, Alleigh, Raegan and Lydia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Bill Asher; and one brother-in-law: Timothy Storey.
A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Dinner will follow at the Hillsboro Community Civic Center. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choosing. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
