Lydia Maxine Quillman-Wills, 81, of Pevely died Jan. 15, 2014, at de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis County. Mrs. Quillman-Wills was a home health aide and had worked at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Born April 28, 1933, in Ellington, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Zella (Buxton) Martin. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Lawrence Quillman and Joseph Wills.
She is survived by seven children: Judy (Steve) Tucker of Pevely, Joyce (Dave) Shumake of Hillsboro, Ed (Steve) Quillman of Fenton, Carl (Jerry) Quillman of Pevely, Richard (Bob) Quillman of Belleville, Ill., Jerry (Connie) Quillman of Farmington and Janet (Al) Cawvey of Festus; seven sisters; eight brothers; a sister-in-law: Pat Birch of Arnold; seven grandchildren: Kasey, Elizabeth, Aaron, Ryan, Brandon, Matt and Michael; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Joan M. Vallee and Jayne A. Woodson-Dunn; one granddaughter: Heather Cawvey; and one great-grandson: Nathanial Monroe.
Funeral service was held Jan. 19 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Bruce Valle. Burial was in the Good Shepherd Cemetery in Hillsboro. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
