Louise (Heitman) LaRue Dees,78, of Imperial, formerly of St. Louis, died Jan. 1, 2015, at de Greeff Hospice House. Mrs. Dees was an insurance underwriter who worked for USF & G, St. Paul and Travelers. She also was an avid bowler. Born Aug. 12, 1936, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Lloyd and Martha Irene (GoForth) Heitman.
She is survived by a son: Don (Denise) LaRue; two grandsons: Bryan LaRue and Jim Kinzel; two brothers: Jerry (Carlette) Heitman and Richard (Pat) Heitman; an aunt: Glenda Smith; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; cousins; her husband: Paul Dees; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond and Larry Heitman.
A memorial gathering will be held at 11 a.m. and a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
