Louis M. Workman, 90, of House Springs died Feb. 17, 2020. Mr. Workman served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2. He loved watching NASCAR races, fishing, camping and traveling with his wife. Born Aug. 24, 1929, in St. Albans, he was the son of the late Verda (Copeland) and Jesse Workman.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary (Riley) Workman.
He is survived by two children: Kristine Crites of High Ridge and Dennis (Jane) Workman Sr. of Dittmer; five grandchildren: Brandy (Brian) Daniels, Matthew (Angel) Crites, Dennis (Tiffany) Workman Jr., Dustin (Bridget) Workman and Misty Workman; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Pat Workman; a dog: King; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by two sisters: Pearl (Forrest) Holladay and Dorothy (Lester) Fisher; two brothers: Norman (Bootsie) Workman and Ronnie Workman; and a son-in-law: Glenn Crites.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0412. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
