Lou Ann Branson, 72, De Soto, died Dec. 31, 2013, at the Villas in De Soto. She was a factory worker and homemaker.
She was born April 28, 1941, in Gasconade County, the daughter of the late John and Irene (Duncan) Stradford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Branson.
She is survived by a son, Richard W. (Carlene) Branson of De Soto; three daughters: Andrea (Joe) Mesey of De Soto; Pam (Kevin) DeClue of De Soto; and Kris Branson of De Soto; six grandchildren: Cory, Molly, Kyle, Kara, Krissy and Lauren; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., De Soto, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Dale Stringer.
Burial is at Peaceful Ridge Cemetery, De Soto.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Parkinson’s Disease Association.
