Lola Dorothy McCoy, 101, of Festus died Dec. 21, 2022, at her home. Mrs. McCoy was born July 7, 1921, in Festus, the daughter of the late Rachel (Lilly) and Edward Samuel Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carroll B. McCoy Sr.
She is survived by three children: Marilyn (Edward) Mahoney of Woburn, Mass., Diane (the late Michael) Martin of Festus and Carroll Bernard “Corky” McCoy Jr. of Festus; a daughter-in-law: Fran McCoy of Festus; a brother: N. Todd (Susan) Miller of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a sister-in-law: Joyce Miller of Festus; four grandchildren: Matthew (Jeanie) McCoy, Daniel (Kristin) McCoy, Christine (Michael) Campbell and Katie (Kristi) Lyon; and nine great-grandchildren: Kadera McCoy, August McCoy, Asher McCoy, Norah McCoy, Madeline McCoy, Nelle McCoy, Judith Campbell, Charlotte Campbell and Lincoln Campbell.
She was preceded in death by a son: Philip David McCoy; five siblings: Philip (the late Elenore) Miller, Donald (the late Kathlyn) Miller, James (the late Kathleen) Miller, Robert (the late Betty) Miller and Richard Miller.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church, to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or to the Ozark Food Pantry. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
