Lisa I. Young, 50, of Bland died Jan. 31, 2014, at St. Mary’s Heath Center in Jefferson City. Ms. Young was a homemaker. Born May 18, 1963, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Matthew Young and Alma Ilene (Carson) Harding.
She is survived by a son, Randall (Brittney Reich) Young of Festus; five siblings: Ron (Tina) Young of De Soto, Sidney (Karin) Young of De Soto, Melba (Steve) Settlemoir of Festus, Marsha (Joe) Boyer of Olympian Village and Matthew (Dixie) Young of De Soto; a half brother: Dennis Harding of Festus; and one grandson: River Cain Maness. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Shannon Young.
A memorial gathering is scheduled for 11 a.m. and memorial services for 1 p.m. Saturday: Feb. 8, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. G. Michael Rose. Burial is in the Buster Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
