Lillian “Lily” Marie Drzewiecki, 14, of De Soto, formerly of Florida, died Feb. 3, 2018, at her home in De Soto. Lily was a student at Hillsboro High School. She loved to draw, sing and write stories. Her dream was to be a novelist. Born Feb. 16, 2003, in Tampa, Fla., she was the daughter of Sandra Drzewiecki of De Soto and Edward Drzewiecki.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother: Steven Drzewiecki of Florida; three sisters: Elizabeth Drzewiecki of De Soto, Debbie Drzewiecki of De Soto and Cynthia Drzewiecki of De Soto; and a niece and nephew: Madison and Robert.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of funeral services at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Mahn De Soto Chapel, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. A GoFundMe has been set up by Lily’s sister to raise funds for funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
