Letetia “Tish” Fanger, 81, of Festus, died March 6, 2017 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mrs. Fanger was a licensed practical nurse at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City. She was a member of the First Christian Church/Disciples of Christ in Festus and the Missouri Association of Licensed Practical Nurses. Born March 10, 1935, in Kirksville, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Vinyard) and Earl Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles “Red” Fanger.
She is survived by two sons: Robert (Stefanie) Fanger of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jason Fanger of St. Louis; three daughters: Cindy Sturgeon of Sikeston, Yvonne Cramer of Festus and Pamela (Marty Vogt) St. Clair of Festus; 13 grandchildren: Katrina (Scott) Boehm, Amanda (Thaddeus) Ramirez, Amy St. Clair, Brittany Luce, Robert Luce, Andrew (Marcie) Becker, Tiffany Cramer, Darby Fanger, Connor Spivey, Jonathan Fanger, Brandi (Tim Collins) Vogt, Megan (Austin) Eaves and Ryan Vogt; 10 great-grandchildren Kaitlin Burton, Kyle Cramer, Cierra McNeary, Paige Naeger, Andrew Boehm, Tyler Ramirez, Elijah Ramirez, Christian Ramirez, Toby Ramirez and Kylie Nezik; and a brother-in-law: Gerald (Phyllis) Fanger.
Memorial services were held March 10 at the First Christian Church/Disciples of Christ in Festus, officiated by Pastor Lari Grubbs. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church/Disciples of Christ. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
