Leon O. McAnally, 93, of Terre Du Lac died Nov. 21, 2016, in Farmington. Mr. McAnally was a member of Teamsters Local 610 and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed gardening and church activities, was a church usher for several years and was a member of Parents of Murdered Children, Day by Day and Bereaved Parents. Born March 6, 1923, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Ferman and Ova (Rider) McAnally.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Jacqueline (Sparks) McAnally.
He is survived by two sons: Jeff (Patty) McAnally and Chris McAnally; three grandchildren: Heather (Jeff) Hampton, Margie and Mary McAnally; six great-grandchildren: Carly, Emma, Claudia, Emilia, Hunter and Ava; two brothers: Jim and Leroy (Joann) McAnally; and a sister: Delores Hamel.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Claudia; two sisters: Valeria Sheppard and Grace Rousan; and two brothers: Robert and Carless McAnally.
Funeral services were held Nov. 25 at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Dwight Jones. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Bonne Terre.
