Lavonna Hall, 70, of Pevely died Nov. 13, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Hall was a volunteer at Vineland Elementary School in De Soto. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Born Nov. 12, 1949, in Dexter, she was the daughter of the late Everett Shelton and Lavella (Clark) Shelton of Houston, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: Dana Hall.
She is survived by a son: Kevin (Michelle) Hall of Spring, Texas; two daughters: April (Matt) Thurman of LeClaire, Iowa, and Sammye Leahy of O’Fallon; two sisters: Debby (Bruce) Eskew of Dexter and Pennie Shelton of Houston; six grandchildren: Rylee and Makenzee Leahy, Katherine and Addison Hall, Andreae (Austin) Schuster and Jase Thurman; a great-grandson: Archer Schuster; and a niece: Natalie Eskew.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter: Angela L. Russell; and a son-in-law: Ryan Leahy.
Memorials may be made to Little Pink Houses of Hope, 2442 Tribek Court, Burlington, NC 27215. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus.
