Larry W. Hutson, 75, of Festus died March 8, 2022. Mr. Hutson was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was born July 7, 1946, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Gus Hutson and Lorraine Sue (Turnbough) Hutson Dively and the stepson of the late Virgil Dively..
He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Mary A. (Williams) Hutson; four children: Scott (Kendra) Hutson, Julia (Troy) Brokaw, John (Lara) Dane and Amanda (Corey) Dane; 11 grandchildren Madelyn, Nolan, Mabrie, Colt (Joy), Alyssa, Blake, Tyler, Evan, Olivia, Rylie and Parker; three great-grandchildren: Noah, Clementine and Blair; five siblings: Rich (Joy) Hutson, Joyce (Bud) Latham, Brenda (Randy) Martin, Tammy (Mike) Schuble and Kevin (Barb) Hutson; two sisters-in-law: Lisa and Rose; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Betty (Killian) Martin; a brother: Gary Hutson; two nephews: Charles “Chuck” Killian and Charles York.
A funeral service was held March 15 at Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County. A graveside service with full military honors was held in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
