Larry E. Albers, 72, of Imperial died Nov. 30, 2017. Mr. Albers owned Albers Auto Body for more than 45 years. He was a classic car restorer, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Life Church. Born June 17, 1945, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Laura (Rainey) and Alfred Albers. He is survived by his wife: Elaine (Knollhoff) Albers.

He is also survived by a daughter: Vicki (Roy) Short III of House Springs; a son: Steve (Amie) Albers of Imperial; three grandchildren: Anna Lindsey of Springfield and Maya and Nolan Albers of Imperial; a brother: Tony (Sharon) Albers of San Diego.; a sister: Diane Bailey of Imperial; four nephews: Michael (Nancy) Albers and Peter (Cassia) Albers, both of San Francisco, Brian Albers of Salt Lake City and Jason Bailey of Imperial; two grandnephews: Asher and William; and a grandniece: Eva.

He was preceded in death by a nephew: John Bailey.

Visitation from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the funeral home chapel. Burial is in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart.
