Lahoma Georgina Duvall, 86, of Festus died March 5, 2021, at Scenic Nursing Center in Herculaneum. Mrs. Duvall was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Mineral Point, the daughter of the late Stella (Peppers) and John Barron. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Duvall Sr.
She is survived by three daughters: Cathy (Dan) Ash of Hillsboro, Shirley Miller of Tampa, Fla., and Bridget (Alton) Montgomery of Festus; a son: Robert L. Duvall Jr. of Festus; eight grandchildren: Tina (Johnnie) Carter, Nancy (Kenny) Oakleaf, Melissa Miller, Jordan Duvall, Danny (Stephanie) Ash, Jeremy (Brandi) Duvall, Ryan (Stephanie) Hogenmiller and Robin Hogenmiller; 10 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Debbie Duvall; a son: Dannie Duvall; and five siblings: Lloyd (Deets survives of Paducah, Ky.) Barron, Floyd (Terri survives of New York) Barron, Lynn (Ruth survives of St. Genevieve) Barron and infant twins John and Christina Barron.
Mrs. Duvall chose to donate her body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at Our Lady Catholic Church in Festus, officiated by Father Gregory Klump. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
