Kevin Daniel Kraemer Sr., 60, of Imperial died June 30, 2020, at his home. Mr. Kraemer was the former owner/operator of Kraemer Hauling and SWK Trucking, among other business ventures. He was a supporter of youth sports and loved animals, the outdoors, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Born Sept. 29, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of Delores “Sugar” (Boyer) and Wayne Kraemer Sr. of Ste. Genevieve County.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Cindy (Drennen) Kraemer; two sons: Kevin D. Kraemer Jr. of Barnhart and Russell Donald Kraemer of De Soto; three daughters: Heather (Joshua) Stewart of High Ridge, Ammie Danielle (Victor) Plancarte of Barnhart and Jessica Lynn Kraemer of St. Louis; a brother: Wayne (Susan) Kraemer Jr. of Hillsboro; two sisters: Debbie (Joe) Mercer of Columbia, Ill., and Susan (James) Herzog of Ste. Genevieve County; seven grandchildren: Alaina Kraemer, Gweneth Stewart, Iris Stewart, Korbin Stewart, Noah, Isabelle and Isaiah; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Burial is in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Imperial. Memorials may be made to Always for ALS. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
