Kevin D. Eckstein, 35, of Eugene, formerly of Imperial, died July 10, 2020, in Eugene. Mr. Eckstein worked as a mason. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, along with spending time at the lake boating, riding and building his motorcycle. He was born June 6, 1985. The son of Rick (Pat) Eckstein of Imperial and Lisa (McCurdy) Barbagallo of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters: Nicole Eckstein of Imperial, Anna Barbagallo of Jefferson City and Amanda Marks of Jonesboro, Ark; a brother: Roy (Dawn) Hector of House Springs; a fiancée; and three children.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Nick Barbagallo; an aunt: Lynette McCurdy; and his grandparents.
A memorial will be held from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of St. Louis.
