Kevin Cleary, 63, of Festus died April 12, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Cleary was a registered nurse at the Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Sept. 28, 1955, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., the son of Ila “Jean” (Thomlinson) Cleary of Sarasota, Fla., and the late Pete Cleary.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Sharon (Dulin) Cleary; a son: Ben (Ari) Allen, stationed in Nahrain with the U.S. Navy; a daughter: Deborah Sue Allen of Festus; four brothers: Keith Michael (Debra) Cleary of Crystal River, Fla., Collin Drew “Rusty” (Kelly Jean) Cleary of Sarasota, Fla., Cameron Paul (Pamela) Cleary of Homasassa, Fla., and Kelly Patrick (Jacquelyn) Cleary of Venice, Fla.; three grandchildren: Emily Allen, Eliana Allen and Gideon Allen; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Peter Craig Cleary.
A prayer service was held April 13 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
