Kenneth James Setzer Sr., 63, of Salem died Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. Born Aug. 16, 1956, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late James and Joyce (Jernigan) Setzer.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Valerie Comisak Riley.
He is survived by a son: Kenneth J. (Mindy Potts) Setzer Jr. of Salem; a daughter: Leann (David) Golden of Richmond, Ky.; two stepdaughters: Regina (Chris) Utter of Piper, Kan., and Theresa Riley of Bland; a brother: Darrell (Janet) Setzer of Goose Creek; a sister: Debbie (Jim) Barber of Dittmer; eight grandchildren: Garrett Brown, Jamie Setzer, Gerard Setzer, Jonah Utter, Elijah Utter, Stella Utter, Desiree Dolan and Brice Robertson; and several nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by a brother: Mike Setzer.
A celebration of life will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 13, at the De Soto Community Center, 400 Boyd St., in De Soto.
