Keith Raymond Baer, 61, of De Soto died July 5, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Baer was a retired assembler with the Chrysler Corp., and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes and caring for his family. He was avid Blues hockey fan and was known to enjoy a cold beer. Born June 9, 1957, in St Louis, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lorraine (Ladusaw) Baer.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Sue (Barnes) Baer of De Soto; a son: Joshua Baer of De Soto; two daughters: Kristie Saunsaucie of Imperial and Robin (Gene) Coleman of Cedar Hill; two brothers: Gregory Baer of House Springs and Glenn (Dianna) Baer of Hillsboro; and three grandchildren: Cole Coleman, Chloe Coleman and A.J. Saunsaucie.
Visitation is at 3 p.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus, officiated by Gene Coleman. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
