Oliver Alexander Carl Messmer and Keegan William Messmer died eight days apart, on May 26, 2017, and June 3, 2017. The twins were born May 26, 2017, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, the sons of Amber Messmer of Valles Mines.
In addition to their mother, they are survived by their grandmother: Melissa (William Willis) Messmer of Valles Mines; three great-grandparents: Lori and Barry French of Valles Mines, Barbara Reising of Valles Mines and John Schopp of Valles Mines; three aunts: Alex Willis of Arnold, Taylor Seeman of Valles Mines and Brianna Birkenmeier of Valles Mines; and one uncle: Austin James of De Soto.
Private graveside services were held June 13 at Mount Olive Cemetery in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Jimmie Turner. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
