Kayla Lynn Leaders, 25, of Arnold died Jan. 7, 2017, in St. Louis. Born Oct. 3, 1991, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Chrissy (Steve Lewis) Zahn of Arnold and William “Bill” Leaders of Bonne Terre.
She is survived by a brother: Austin M. “Bubby” Leaders of Arnold; a son: Brandon M. Leaders of Arnold; two daughters: Destiny M. and Cassandra “Cassie” Leaders, both of Imperial; her stepmother: Beth Gaines; her great-grandmother, Adele Gaynor of Arnold; her grandparents: Larry Zahn of Desloge, Gary and Cindy Leaders of Ballwin; three sisters: Miranda “Moo” Leaders of Arnold and Alyssa H. Leaders and Alexis Leaders, both of Bonne Terre; four uncles: David and Tommy Zahn of Desloge, Denny (Kathy) Gaynor of South Lake, Texas, and Uncle John of Bonne Terre; two aunts: Jenny Eaton of Herculaneum and Lori Eaton of S. Louis County; 10 cousins: Sam and Sarah Jackson, Alyssa and Nikki Zahn, Collin and Chandler Conway, Ryan “Rye-Rye” Schoelmeyer, Clayton, Lily, Lucas and Violet Lee, and Anthony Vasquez; Dr. Craig Spiegel; and her good friend, Andy.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Debbie Zahn, Dennis F. Gaynor and Marcella and Vernon Leaders.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Kutis South County Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 12, at the funeral home, officiated by Father Charlie Farrara. Burial will be at noon Thursday, Jan. 12, at Red Bud Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Funeral Home.
