Kathleen M. Maurer, 81, of Imperial died May 21, 2019, at de Greeff Hospice House at Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County. Mrs. Maurer was a clerical worker at Anheuser-Busch. Born Aug. 13, 1937, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Goggins.
She is survived by her husband: Joseph W. Maurer Jr.; four daughters: Lori (James) Wilbanks of Imperial, Lisa (Monty) Thomas of Weyauwega, Ill.; Linda Maurer of De Soto and Lesli (Mark) Maxson of Pevely; 11 grandchildren: Donte, Jacob, Justin, Nathan, Cole, Michael, Kyle, Tyler, Joshua (Jennie), Zachary, and Sara; a great-granddaughter: Catherine; two brothers: James (Jean) Goggins and Steve (Mary Kay) Goggins, both of St. Louis; and a sister: Brenda (Bob) Summers of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Regina Goggins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6020 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial. Burial will be at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
