Kaitlyn Marie Greathouse, 14, of Hillsboro, died Nov. 14, 2020, in Hillsboro. Kaitlyn was an eighth-grade student at Hillsboro Junior High and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Herculaneum. She was a cheerleader at Hillsboro, as she had been previously at Crystal City Junior High, and loved dancing and creating Tik Tok videos. She was a loyal friend who could always be counted on, and will be remembered for her bright eyes and beautiful smile. She was born Feb. 10, 2006, in Festus, the daughter of David Allan (Amanda) Greathouse of Cassville and Danielle Nicole (Michael) Conn of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four brothers: Christopher Greathouse of Hillsboro, Evan Conn of Hillsboro, Nikalas Greathouse of Cassville and Owen Johnston of Cassville; five sisters: Tess Pfeiffer of Hillsboro, Airanna Greathouse of Cassville, Taya Scates of California, Makynize Greathouse of Cassville and Miranda Greathouse of Cassville; her grandparents: Keith and Becky Pfeiffer of Hillsboro, Joe and Sandy Humphrey of Shell Knob, Cathy Cook of Imperial, Michelle Archer of Silent Springs, Ark., and Hugh Greathouse of Kansas City; her great-grandparents: Kathy Davis of Heavner, Okla., and Doris Stidem of Hillsboro; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held Nov. 21 at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus, officiated by Bishop Andrew Miller. Burial was in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to Romans Joy, 138 Ron De Le Drive, Arnold, 63010. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
