Junetta O. “Pete” (Mabrey) Buchanan, 89, of Imperial, died July 12, 2014.
Born May 26, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Birdie (Gipson) Mabry.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. Buchanan.
She is survived by a son: Richard E. Buchanan; a daughter: Patricia D. (Gary) Girard; a sister: Velma Lockwood; five grandchildren: Todd, Garrett and Chase Girard, Josh and Nina Buchanan; seven great-grandchildren: Hailey, Lexi, Ashton and Liam Girard, Caleb Smith-Hustler, Davis and Drake Buchanan.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday (July 19) at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold followed by funeral services at noon at the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis County.
