Julia Elizabeth Hollycross, 74, of Pevely died Dec. 20, 2020, at the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis. Mrs. Hollycross was a homemaker. A Jehovah’s Witness for 48 years, she attended the Imperial Congregation. Born Dec. 11, 1946, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Burrell) and Emerson Long.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Ed Hollycross Sr.; three children: Ed (Michele) Hollycross Jr. of Humble, Texas, Michelle (Tom) Daffron of Herculaneum and Elizabeth (Steve) Frank of Pevely; four grandchildren: Colin and Maya Smith of Herculaneum and Chase and Chaley Frank of Pevely; five nieces and nephews: Cate (Terry) Dewrock of St. Louis, Chuck (Denise) Long of Imperial, Ken (Tina) Heimos of Festus, David (Dawn) Heimos of Hillsboro and Diana Nelson of Barnhart; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Charles Long.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, over Zoom. Burial will be private.
