Joyce A. Woods, 90, of High Ridge died March 17, 2022, at her home. Mrs. Woods was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of High Ridge for 60 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Born Nov. 28, 1931, in Gibson County, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Benton and Beatrice (Jenkins) Hunt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years: Raymond Lloyd Woods.
She is survived by two children: Alan (Cindy) Woods of High Ridge and Sherry (the late Steve) Moyses of High Ridge; two grandchildren: Angela (Vagedes) Anello of St. Louis and Joseph A. (Tara) Vagedes of High Ridge; three great-grandchildren: Dakota Woods, Arsen Vagedes and Spencer Buck; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Alan R. Woods and Mary Elizabeth Woods; her twin brother: Robert Hunt; and a sister: Lois (Hunt) Harbison.
Funeral services were private. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
