Joseph John Dietrich Sr., 74, of St. Louis died Oct. 27, 2017, in Bridgeton. Mr. Dietrich was a printer with Local 5054 and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born Sept. 21, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Vera (Seitz) and Earl Dietrich.
He is survived by a lifelong friend and mother of his three children: Linda (Dietrich) Clavenna; a son: Joseph (Lisa Gibson) Dietrich Jr. of St. Charles; two daughters: Terri (Gilbert) Thebeau of Hillsboro and Roberta Kern of St. Louis; two sisters: Darlene (Edward) Jarvis of Wright City and Betty (Mike) Ziegler of Imperial; seven grandchildren: Joey, Jordan, Adam, Aaron, Samantha, Hailii and Tyler; and seven great-grandchildren: Gilbert, Brendan, Aubri, Chevy, Michael, Harmony and Elijah.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral service will be at noon Thursday, Nov. 2, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Fischer House. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
