Joseph C. Prance, 86, of House Springs died Aug,. 12, 2016. Mr. Prance was the pastor of Christian Fellowship Assembly Church of High Ridge. He served in the U.S. Army and earned a doctorate degree.
He is survived by his wife: Ella (Cooley) Prance; three children: Michael (Brinda) Prance, Bunny (Doug) Hall and Tanya (Pastor Bob) Lopinot; a sister: Bea (Donald) Sexton; eight grandchildren: Hollie (Matt) Price, Lindsay (Willy) Hawkins, Heather (Steve) Schmidt, Crystal (Steve) Lammlein, Amy Prance, Laura (Sean Carpenter) Prance, Casey (Teresa) Welsh and Jill (Greg) Bayless; 10 great-grandchildren: Michaela and Tyler Schmidt, Brodie, Case and Liam Lammlein, Skyler and Dakota Carpenter, Carter and Tristan Welsh and Avery Bayless; and nieces and nephews, friends and church members.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15, at Messenger Church 602 Summit Road, in Fenton. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Christian Fellowship Assembly Church, 3483 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements were under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin.
