Jonathon J. Keeney, 38, of De Soto, died Dec. 16, 2017, at his home. Mr. Keeney was a driver for UPS. He enjoyed playing sand volleyball, boating, fishing and swimming and was always a hard worker. Born July 2, 1979, in St. Louis, he was the son of Bill Keeney of De Soto and the late Frankie (Underwood) Keeney.
He is survived by two brothers: Don Keeney of Festus and Bobby (Sue) Keeney of Millstadt, Ill.; and five sisters: Patty Keeney of De Soto, Jennifer Keeney of De Soto, Jackie (Doug) Keeney of Wentzville, Kathy (Harry) Keeney of Rolla and Debbie (James Bell) Keeney of Millstadt, Ill.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother: Billy Keeney Jr.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, at Mahn De Soto Chapel, 900 N. Main and Mahn Ave., in De Soto. Funeral services will follow immediately at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
