John Donald Williams, 86, of St. Louis, formerly of Crystal City, died Oct. 13, 2021, at Bethesda Southgate Nursing in St. Louis County. Mr. Williams was the owner and operator of Williams Real Estate and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. He was a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club and the Twin City Area Chamber of Commerce. He was born Feb. 3, 1935, in Morse Mill, the son of the late Alta (Christopher) and John Donald Williams Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Jacqueline (Gehrs) Williams; a daughter: Deborah (Kevin) Gorman of Oakville; two sons: Mark (Helen) Williams of Bloomsdale and Jeffery (Hilary) Williams of Farmington; a brother: Joe (Becky) Williams of De Soto; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: John Donald Williams III; and a brother: Jude (Nancee survives of Cape Girardeau)Williams.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City, officiated by Deacon Phillip Warren. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
