JoAnn Ruth Frank, 70, of Festus died June 9, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Frank enjoyed shopping, painting, ceramics, cycling classes and kickboxing, but most of all spending time with her family and friends. Born Aug. 8, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Estelle (Merkel) Barnard.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas Leo Frank of Festus; three children: Thomas “Larry” (Elizabeth) Frank of Festus, Terry Lee (Alisha) Frank of Festus and Staci Nicole (Joseph) Howard of St Louis; four grandchildren: Louis, Jackson, Hudson and Alexander; a nephew: Chris (Barb) Barnard of Fenton; and two great-nephews: Keegan and Dravin.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Ronnie Barnard; a sister: Brenda Barnard; and a nephew: Timothy Barnard.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 15, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Aging Ahead or to the Disability Resource Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
